Julio- Art

This is a painting by a famous Mexican artist, Diego Rivera (some people may know him as Frida Kahlo's husband). Most of his work seems very simplistic, but at the same time conveying meaning. I believe his paintings convey the Mexican culture (possibly all Latin American culture) and the struggles within it. In this painting the man is hassling to carry a basket of flowers on his back. Normally a basket of flowers would be pretty light in weight. There is something to be said about Diego Rivera and his work.
