Art is a noun created to express an intangible idea. As we concluded in class, it is very difficult to define art. I think anything can be art as long as it discusses or expresses the feelings/ideas of the artist or thing it encompasses. Art can come in all forms. what distinguishes it from everything else is that there is no fact to it. there may be fact to the object that it is depicting, but because it is not the actual object, people can interpret it in their own ways. It is a form of expression and raise feelings or questions. of the person observing. As you can see this description of art is all over the place. that is because there is no one way you can define art. I chose to paste this image because it is one of my favorite photographs. Besides the exquisite expression on the girl, the combination of the colors and light bring depth and excitement to the picture. Steve McCurry's picture makes you wonder so many things and longing for more information to understand the situation of the picture.
