My aim was to create an eye-catching, memorable business card. The colors, red and black, work well with the theme. I think the monkeys, in addition to
adding some humor, really communicate a festive atmosphere. I used Photoshop to cut the monkeys out of a picture I had, got the disco ball from Google, cut it out of the picture it was originally in, and used the brush tool in order to create the lines of light emitted by the disco ball. I had to use a lot of layers in order to achieve this effect. I really enjoyed learning to use Photoshop.
I found two t-shirts that I liked... I really liked the colors and the composition of the Pollock t-shirt - it's a shirt I would wear -, whereas I found the other's logo more amusing. I have a "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster in my room, which this is a parody of, so I thought it was fun. I also liked the Darwin t-shirt.
