In general, I am more attracted to weird colors and patterns than actual statements and graphics. I'm always looking for something weird and different, and I like this houndstooth t-shirt because of how it separates a pattern entirely from its construction -- a pattern created by a certain method of weaving is copied on the surface -- it has the appearance of the original without really having anything to do with it. As if aware of this, the back does not continue the pattern but is merely black, signaling its artificiality.
