Ali-art from 1500-1650
I chose this piece of art titled "the school of athens," by Raphael Sanzio made between 1510-1511 because I thought it showed great depth which adds to the room it was painted on. I thought it was very accurate for what we have been studying on depth with plato and aristotle as the vanishing points. It also portreys many figures and creates space through shadowing and using different lines and contrasts.
