Ventura Selimbeni painted this image in the mid 1600's. It can be found in the church of St. Peter in Montalcino in Sienna, Italy. The reason I found it comical or interesting is because God and Jesus seem to be holding wands controlling the Earth. I had never seen or considered this opinion before and found it quite interesting. There are other opinions surrounding this painting however, some consider the globe to be a UFO with the portal or lens opening near Jesus's left foot.
