Samantha- Tower of Babel, Pieter Bruegel

I chose Pieter Bruegel, who was a 16th century netherlandlish renaissance painter. I found the painting before I found the artist, and this is a portrayal of one of my favorite bible stories. I love this story because it paints a very different picture of God than the ideal that people tend to subscribe to. There's also much depth, texture, and form to this picture. We see multiple layers of the tower. He gives the illusion of parallel lines as we have learned to do. It's a gorgeous depiction.
